So I've known for a while that there's a Commodore 64 emulator out there.  What I just found out today, though, is that someone got a hold of the Quantum Link server software and ported it to run on a "real" computer.  So you can run the emulator, run the image of the Q-Link disk, and actually log into the old system.

This is... mind boggling.

I'm 36, that's no secret.  What alot of people don't know is that I've had "email" since I was 14 because of Quantum Link and the whole Commodore "online" community.  This is just ridiculously giddymaking for me.  I even set back up my original screen name "Hang11" which was also the license plate number on my first car.  It meant "Surf Naked!"  I was such an awesome teenager, wasn't I?
