The Money Dilema

So here's my thought process. I love to create things. I love the act of taking something from an idea to reality. In a perfect world, I would get paid for creating, right?

Well, the few times I *have* been paid for "creative" services, it hasn't been that much fun.

Shooting weddings for co-workers last summer? Awesome! I had a blast, and I'm completely proud of the product. Shooting fire shoe company a few weeks ago? Meh. Product? Nice, but... Meh.

Designing a website for the community theater back home? Fun. Happy with what came out if it. Website for big old cheese company? Meh. Enh. Meh.

Video for Moron Life? Rocking! Video for phone people? Torture.

Am I destined to labor only for love?

Meh.
