So when I found out that this weekend was pretty much schedule free, I did a little happy dance, because Day Off = Time to Work On Projects.
But that's not what happened yesterday. Yesterday, I forced myself to REST.
I got up around 9:30, because I had a 10AM Table Read for the podcast. Took about 2.5 hours, but it was ALOT of fun. I also started the excruciatingly long process of restoring the data to my new dual terrabyte drive RAID array on my primary 'work' machine, which had been powered down for the better part of the last two weeks. And I got bootcamp installed on Evie so I could do on location audio recording with the software I'm used to, rather than having to work in Audacity.
Then I rested. I stayed on the couch most of the day, surfing the intarwebs and/or reading a book. Watched BSG, Lost and Fall of the Blue Beetle (and some Fraggle Rock, with Izzy).
It's hard, because I hate inactivity. If I'm not doing something at least semi productive, I feel like I'm wasting time. But I was exhausted, and I knew I needed the rest, so regardless of how much my brain screamed "BUT... BUT... You're not DOING anything!!!!" I made it shut up and relax.
And today, I feel soooooooooooooooooooooooo much better.
