Our second full day at see was a little more sedate. At least at first. Most folks slept in, so breakfast was either room delivered (room service knocked so loud on Sister unit's door that even *I* heard it at 5AM), or people hit the buffet. I had Wife for the week's bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and followed it up by raiding Sister unit's breakfast tray for a second bowl.
Then it was shower time, and off to the next round of wine tasting. This time, old world wine. It was a better selection than the day before, but BOY am I spoiled when it comes to wine.
Lunch was burgers on the Lido deck, followed by margaritas on the Lido deck, followed by a brief nap, and wine on the Lido deck. It was really just a casual hanging out day.
More nap was had, and then it was time to get ready for dinner. I had Pork Loin and Polenta. Nom nom nom.
Then we all decided to go hit one of the night clubs for some fun. We started in Blues, the piano bar. But it was a little smokey in there, and the food coma everyone was dealing with made sure that most of the folks had their "nah nah baby pants" on, so there was about an hour of bar-hopping and pouting by various folks, but then eventually everyone settled back into Blues and had some fun. Ed (remember the spider monkey guy?) demanded at some point during the night I had to sing.
Well eventually I ended up with a mic in my hand, but swore I knew no lyrics to any songs. So I just turned to the piano player and said "Give me a blues riff." And he did, and I made up a song (it wasn't that great), and everybody cheered.
A few more drinks, and it was bed time. Except that I couldn't sleep. So I ended up wandering the ship until about 4:30 in the morning. It's really quiet then, while everyone is sleeping. Go figure.
I think I finally dozed off around 5:30...
