What a nice day... slept in (a little too long), went to the dentist, where the oral hygienist told me that my gums were the healthiest she'd ever seen them. I like spitting in the little sink and seeing no bleeding (sorry for the visuals). YAY!
After that was over, and I got a new, blue toothbrush, I walked outside and reveled in the beauty of the sun shining down into Copley Square. Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera with me. :P
I was walking towards Downtown Crossing when I passed Structure (the version of Express for men-- mostly gay men) and they were having a 70% off sale. Well, I couldn't pass THAT up. I got myself a $70 sweater for like $18, a $50 pair of pants for like $13 and a brightly colored T-Shirt for $9.99 (regularly $29.99). YAY ME!
A nice walk to the Theater District gave me the opportunity to see the new location for the Improv Asylum's current mainstage cast. The 'entrance' for Wednesday, Thursday and Sundays will be right across from the Charles Playhouse, where Blue Man Group is playing.
On the way from the Theater District to Downtown Crossing I passed the Mass Registry of Motor Vehicles and remembered I needed to renew my license. Took care of that in under 15 minutes.
FINALLY got to Downtown Crossing and hit Barnes&Noble with the $25 gift card work gave me for Christmas. I've been feeling spiritually needy lately, so I picked up books on Taoism and Bhuddism, and a book of wisdom from the Dalai Lama.
Carted all that to Newbury Street, where the new Virgin Records is about to open and had a nice lunch at the Other Side Cafe. They can't add for shit there, but that's okay (5.50 + 3.50 + 1.00 = 10.50 how?).
Dragged myself away from warm cafe to cold alley to shoot a student film. It was alot of fun, but I think I have lipstick in my eye. :P
All in all, a pretty good Valentines Day.
Tonight, I will venture to the Asylum for Improv Jam, and will be BRILLIANT. :)
My love to all of you, even the ones I don't know...
Wonder if I'll put out tonight...
