Today, I spent most of the day rehearsing for a show in which I play a man at different points in his life from 47 to 67. He's a father. And he abuses (beats the crap out of) his youngest son. The father was abused by HIS father as a child.

It's a good script, and a challenge to play the character, but it's really tense. I've got a knot in my lower back that's about the side of the Prudential Building right now.

It gets me to thinking, though, about how good my life is. I have a great family who all love me. I have great friends who more than tolerate my quirks. I'm moving somewhere to live with a great person, and there are already great people waiting there for me...

I'm really fucking lucky.

Luck be a lady tonight...
