Today, I loaded up my camera, and dressed in jeans and a sweatshirt went off on a photo excursion for a friend writing an article on urban renewal.
I set my mind to the task of making it a fun, official photography outing, and apparently it worked, because shortly after I arrived and started taking pictures I was stopped by security and asked why I was photographing. Personal reasons was my answer of course.
I strolled up and down the length of Santana Row, and in almost the exact same spot, just on the other side of the street, I was stopped again. This time by a nice elderly woman. We discussed cameras for a little bit, and she expressed her concerns about her new digital and not knowing enough about it.
Both conversations made me feel pretty good. Must take more photos.
