Lesson: Time for the Me

The first thing the new job has taught me is that it's really important to stop and take some time for myself.

In between everything else I've done these last few days, I actually layed on the couch and read a book for the first time in forever. Spent yesterday working on web stuff, sketch comedy stuff and improv rehearsal, but I also took some time to play UT with the housemates and guests in a six person mega-slaughter-a-thon. Much fun was had.

Yay for quality time!

Office posties...

So for the first time since 2003 I'm posting "from the office."

Let me tell you, this place is FUCKED UP.

For those who don't know, I'm the marketing assistant (working for Beer Summit Josh) for Gyro's 3D Fear Factory ( The "tech guy" (who's name is Steve, but who goes by 'Dirt') just walked by our office with a box of what LOOKED like animal pelts.

There are severed limbs all over the outer office.

Zelda has a pet tarantula.

I'll try to get pictures at some point...
