I'd been fighting them for so long, because I didn't get them. They were far from intuitive for me, and I didn't like their general site designs.
But it's getting on time for the Riverfront to switch over to a new site host, so I figured content management might be the way to go for their site. So I forced myself to figure out what the hell was going on with this thing called "Mambo Open Source." And honestly, I'm really starting to like it. I've got alot of work to do to pull functionality that I want into it, but it's really freaking sweet... and it's MODULAR. It's the fucking Ikea of the Internet, I shit you not.
So anyway, I figured I'd share that with you.
I've also spend quite a bit of time helping my dad design some stained glass windows for the set for the show he's doing. They should turn out pretty sweet. If they're not too impossible to fabricate. And no, we're not doing real stained glass.
Okay... off to the races... or bed... or whatever.
