Finally, something positive...

I've been writing very little of late, because I'm sure alot of you are tired of hearing about all the negatives.  I've noted a pattern of decline in the number of comments I get in my silly journal as my mood declines.  And so I've only been saying what absolutely needed to be said.

Today I have something that needs saying that is a 'brighter side' thing.

We started "class" tonight.  The improv thing that the Jesters have been planning.  I have the remaining members of the Jesters, as well as six (soon to be seven) new folks.  Tonight I stepped back into the role of teacher, and it was good.

When I'm up there, sharing my experience and knowledge with folks, and watching them 'get it' it's like nothing else in the world exists.  No troubles, no cares, no worries.  It's me, and them, and the bond that we create so that information can be successfully exchanged.  It's energizing, it's rejuvenating, and it truly makes me feel like I'm doing something worthwhile.  And these days, I don't get that very much, so it's certainly something to treasure.

Watching smiles break out on people's faces as they go through an exercise, or a game, or just 'get it' is one of the best things ever.

Someone just needs to give me a full time job doing this, dammit.  It's where I need to be.
