Pre-Oscars

Every year just before the Oscars, the community theater holds its own awards ceremony for the shows from the previous years. Tonight was this year's awards show.

My sister took home Best Set Dressing for my dad's show.
My mom took home Best Stage Manager for my dad's show.
I took home Best Sound Design for my dad's show.
My dad took home best Set Design.
My dad took home best Program Cover.
My dad took home Best Director.
The Show took home Best Show.
The Show took home Best Costume Design.
Best Actors? My dad's show 2 out of 3.
Best Actresses? My dad's show 2 out of 2.
Best Supporting Actor? My dad's show 1 out of 2.
Best Supporting Actress? My dad's show 1 out of 2.

20 trophies in all were given to The Butler Did it tonight. Not too shabby.

This is the first time I've gotten an award from the theater since 1983 or 84.
