I never signed the "contract" you provided because I'm still waiting on a copy of the employee agreement that it says I agree to. I asked for it three times, and after that, left it up to you to get to me.
My understanding was that my position here was as a Marketing Assistant, and yet I found myself doing radio production and actual graphic design when the usual vendors weren't available to do the job, generally on a ridiculously short deadline. I've spent entire weekends working on radio commercials, graphics issues and running to the city to coordinate blood drives, so your statement that I've not worked more than 40 hours most weeks is not only inaccurate, but insulting in that you don't even seem to realize the scope of work I'm doing for your company that goes above and beyond the call of duty.
Your decision that I must work 9 to 5 and then spend all night at the haunt is completely unreasonable. I am a human being, and have a life outside of Halloween. A 14+ hour day is unacceptable. I'm a salaried employee, not an indentured servant. I refuse to submit to the shoddy treatment that you seem to so thoughtlessly heap on everyone else who works for you.
If you want me to work nights at the haunt, then my hours in the office are going to be curtailed. And for the record, I *NEVER* said anything about 1 day a week at the restaurant. I have cut back my hours to the bare minimum to stay on as an employee there so that I could do this job for you, yet you seem to expect me to completely give the job up in order to work more than full time in a temporary position. Logically, that doesn't make sense to me.
Let me know how you want to handle this. If you prefer to have my resignation, you'll have it by 1:00 today.
